Hi friends! What a joy to introduce you to my new book, Comparison Girl: Lessons from Jesus on Me-Free Living in a Measure-Up World. This book has weighed heavily on my heart over the past year and a half. I’ve thought of the woman who will open it’s pages, looking for something to assure her that the whole world is wrong—that she really isn’t a worthless, inadequate, less than.

I’ve also thought of the woman who will open its pages, who is confident and strong in her faith and right living—yet whose thinly veiled disgust toward others who aren’t doing it right is communicating a superiority and pride that she didn’t know she were wearing.

Both of these women need what I need, and I’m guessing you need it to. We all need to hear hear from Jesus directly. Our thoughts are often so muddled with the measure-up thinking of the world and the attacks of the enemy! But when we listen to Jesus and learn his new kingdom ways, we slowly begin to live me-free.
