“If I were a mother I would…”

I suppose I seem like a rather boring mother to my boy. I’ve never nursed any war heroes, like Clara Burton (that’s what he calls her) did. And I have never worn a sailor uniform or a police one. I do have a very nice house and an ipod, but neither of these have much to do with mothering, in my opinion. Most of all, I do not take a break. At least not from being a mother. And I never will.
