Do you long to pass on your faith to your children, grandchildren, nieces and neighbors? How can you disciple the children you love in on-the-go moments of life? The stories in the Bible are simple enough to be grasped by children, yet profound enough for adults to spend their lives pondering.
In this bonus episode on the Live Like It’s True podcast, my guest Trillia Newbell shares about her new children’s book, Jesus and the Gift of Friendship, and we discuss how to disciple the children we love using stories.

Jesus and the Gift of Friendship

Trillia’s new children’s book helps children reflect on the gift of friendship, and helps them see Jesus as their friend. In this thoughtful children’s book, readers journey with Zeke as he suffers from missing a close friend and experiences rejection after inviting a neighborhood boy to play. With help from his mom and consistent prayer, Zeke develops an unlikely friendship and an important dependence on Christ.

Jesus and the Gift of Friendship will spur hope and comfort in the lives of kids ages 3–6, teaching little ones to embrace friendship as a blessing from God and a reflection of Jesus―our dearest friend and ultimate provider.
