I’m so thankful for the opportunity to have this conversation with Rachael Adams on The Love Offering podcast about the topic of my new book, Kinda Judgy: Finding Mercy for Myself and Others in Six Stories of the Bible, releasing with Moody Publishers!! (Order your copy here.)

Have you ever replayed someone else’s words, convinced they were judging you? Or found yourself quietly judging someone else, certain you were seeing the situation clearly?

I recently had the privilege of joining Rachael Adams on The Love Offering podcast to discuss my book, Kinda Judgy, and a struggle many of us face but rarely talk about openly—judgment.

During our conversation, we explored how feeling judged is often connected to our own insecurities and how the standards we place on others can reveal areas of our hearts that need God’s mercy. Through stories like Jonah, the thief on the cross, and the woman caught in adultery, we talked about how God’s justice and mercy work together to transform the way we see ourselves and others.

One of my favorite takeaways is that we often feel judged and become judgmental in return. Jesus modeled a different way. Though He was wrongly judged, He responded with compassion, forgiveness, and grace.

In this episode, you’ll discover:

• Why judgment and insecurity are often connected
• How contempt quietly damages relationships
• What Jonah’s story reveals about our hearts
• How God’s mercy transforms the way we treat others
• Why the cross is the ultimate picture of love and compassion

If you’ve ever struggled with being critical of yourself or others, I hope this conversation encourages you and points you back to the heart of God.
